Lee Watson
Lee grew up in the Keswick area then graduated from Huddersfield with
an honours degree in business law. After graduation he commenced a
career in financial services, initially as a tied adviser for an insurance
company. With a desire to offer Independent Financial Advice, he joined
O'Reilly in 2000 and became a partner in 2004.
In 2008 the partners of O’Reilly expanded into Leyburn, North Yorkshire
through the acquisition of Yoredale Investment Services. In 2011 Yoredale
and O’Reilly Financial Services were effectively merged. The business
now operates from offices in Penrith, Hawes & Leyburn.
Lee now divides his time between Cumbria and Yorkshire managing the
business and providing advice to existing and new clients.
Steven McLellan
Originally from Whitworth in Lancashire, Steve started a career in
financial planning with a major home service company where he completed
the professional Financial Planning Certificate. In 1996 he moved to
Cumbria having being promoted to assistant branch manager. With over
10 years in Financial Services, Steve joined O'Reilly in 2006 as Senior
Paraplanner for the Financial Services Department. He was appointed
financial services team manager in 2008.
Richard Ireland
Richard was born in Dumfries and has lived in South West Scotland
for much of his life. He entered the financial services industry in
2004 with a well known insurance company before leaving to embark on
new challenges. He returned to financial services in 2008 and gained
valuable experience with a small firm in South west Scotland. He joined
our firm in March 2009 as a paraplanner to Lee Watson. Richard has
the full Financial Planning Certificate and appropriate mortgage qualifications.
Currently studying for further exams and hopes to ultimately gain Chartered
Financial Planner Status.
